Alea Labs is in the production stage of its smart vent, which will allow users to control the temperature of rooms through an app. You can install the vent into some or all of your floor, wall, or ceiling registers. It will monitor the level of VOCs in your home and alert you if the air quality declines. It will also let you know if your air filter needs to be replaced or if your HVAC system needs preventative maintenance. By adjusting the temperature room by room you can see a reduction in your heating and cooling costs.
