When it comes to what to buy in July, smart shopping expert Trae Bodge says just about everything will be on sale. “There will be deals on everything from apparel to beauty to home goods, and the discounts will be as deep as 50 percent off,” she explains. “One of my favorite categories for discounts this time of year is mattresses and bedding, where you will find discounts as well as freebies like free pillows or sheets. So, if you missed those Memorial Day mattress sales, this is a good time to make up for it.”

Between Independence Day sales at the beginning of the month and seasonal clearance deals in the later weeks, July sales are ripe with opportunities for affordable mattresses. Luxury bed retailers like Saatva will extend their 4th of July weekend sales through July 12 to ride the wave of summer deal shoppers. The brand’s award-winning American-made mattress collection ranks among the best things on sale in July. Take $200 off any order of $1,000 or more with a mattress purchase. The entire collection is eco-friendly, and you can find matching pillows, bedding, and sleep products to go along with your new bed.
If you’re still actively shopping around, just about every mattress retailer from Allswell to Purple, Brooklyn Bedding and Mattress Firm will also slash prices throughout the first half of July.

Even everyday cleaning products are getting marked down as part of the summer’s biggest sales, and that’s good news for just about everyone.
